"Greatest Hits" is a compilation album by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released in 1987 by Amiga, a record label in East Germany. The album was made available exclusively in East Germany on LP and cassette. Although the band had already gained a following in the region through illegal recordings and live performances behind the Iron Curtain since 1985, this marked their first official release in the German Democratic Republic (GDR).
