Blonde Redhead

"Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons" marks the fifth studio album by the American alternative rock band Blonde Redhead. Released on June 6, 2000, via Touch and Go Records, the album was recorded at Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville and produced by Guy Picciotto and Ryan Hadlock. A standout track from the album is "For the Damaged Coda," which draws inspiration from Frédéric Chopin's Nocturne in F minor, Op. 55, No. 1. This piece gained renewed exposure years later after being featured in the animated TV series "Rick and Morty" as the recurring theme for the character Evil Morty.
