Tears For Fears

"Tears Roll Down (Greatest Hits 82–92)" is a compilation album by the British band Tears for Fears. It was released in 1992 by Fontana Records, representing a decade of the band's work from 1982 to 1992. This album features their greatest hits during this period, including the band's several UK and international hits. The album's title track, "Tears Roll Down," was an unpublished song until the release of this compilation. The band, primarily consisting of Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, combined elements of new wave, synth-pop, and power pop. Their music often featured lyrics with philosophical and societal themes. "Tears Roll Down (Greatest Hits 82–92)" successfully charted around the world and reached number 2 on the UK Albums Chart. The collection was later reissued in 2004 with a second disc of B-sides and remixes. It includes iconic tracks like "Shout," "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," "Mad World," and "Sowing the Seeds of Love." This album serves as an excellent summation of Tears For Fears' contribution to music in the '80s and early '90s.
