Queens of the Stone Age

"Rated R" also known as "Rated X" on vinyl and "Rated RX" on the 2010 deluxe edition, stands as the second studio album by the American rock band Queens of the Stone Age. Released on June 6, 2000, by Interscope Records, it marked the band's debut on the label and introduced bassist Nick Oliveri and vocalist Mark Lanegan to their lineup. The album proved to be both a critical and commercial triumph, serving as the band's breakthrough release. It reached number 54 in the UK and achieved gold certification by the BPI. Notably, "Rated R" spawned two successful singles: "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret" and "Feel Good Hit of the Summer." The former played a pivotal role in propelling the band into mainstream popularity.
