Red Hot Chili Peppers

"Live in Hyde Park" is the first live album by the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, capturing performances from their concerts at Hyde Park, London, on June 19, 20, and 25, 2004, during the Roll on the Red Tour. These shows were notable for setting records as some of the highest-grossing concerts at a single venue. The album, a double set, was highly successful, debuting at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and remaining there for two weeks, with sales exceeding 120,000 copies. It features a selection of songs from the band's discography but focuses primarily on tracks from their fifth album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, their seventh album, Californication, and their eighth album, By the Way. Notably, the album includes only two songs from Blood Sugar Sex Magik: "Under the Bridge" and "Give It Away." Exclusive tracks on the album include "Leverage of Space" and "Rolling Sly Stone." Some songs performed during the concerts, such as "I Like Dirt" and "My Lovely Man" on June 19, "Maybe" (a cover by The Chantels) on June 20, and "Mini-Epic (Kill for Your Country)" on June 25, are not included in this release. "Mini-Epic" was initially intended for the album but was omitted, possibly due to sensitive thematic content. It was later officially released on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' live album Cardiff, Wales: 6/23/04 in 2015.
