Led Zeppelin

"Led Zeppelin Remasters" is a three-LP (or two-cassette/CD) compilation album of digitally remastered material by English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released on October 15, 1990, by Atlantic Records. The album is essentially a scaled-down version of the four-CD Led Zeppelin Boxed Set. The Led Zeppelin Remasters album featured tracks from all of Led Zeppelin's studio albums and contained some of their most successful and well-known hits. Notably, the album includes the previously unreleased, and until then, largely unheard instrumental track, "Moby Dick/Bonzo's Montreux." The album enjoyed significant commercial success. In the UK, it remained on the album charts for 138 weeks and was swiftly certified 6x Platinum in the United States. The enormous response contributed to a revival of the band's popularity in the early 1990s. Created by Jimmy Page, the album's primary objective was to provide a premier showcase for the band's studio work. It was intended to serve as a lasting testament to Led Zeppelin's pioneering of hard rock and heavy metal, and it does so with tracks loaded with stomping beats, haunting ambiance, and roaring riffs. In this endeavor, it was extremely well received, being "the definitive Zeppelin collection," as described by many critics.
