Three Dog Night

"Captured Live at the Forum" is an album released by American rock band Three Dog Night in 1969. The album is notable as being their first live album, following the success of their two initial studio albums. The "Forum" in the title refers to The Forum, a popular entertainment venue in Inglewood, California. The band, which had a plethora of chart-topping hits in the late 1960s and early 1970s, consisted of three lead vocalists: Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron. At the time of recording the album, the band also included Mike Allsup on guitar, Floyd Sneed on drums, Joe Schermie on bass, and Jimmy Greenspoon on keyboards. Although not as commercially successful as some of their other albums, "Captured Live at the Forum" was a hit amongst fans of Three Dog Night's exciting live shows. The album features live renditions of some of their most popular songs, highlighting the band's distinctive vocal harmonies and energetic performance style. Tracklisting includes hits like "Heaven Is in Your Mind", "Feelin' Alright", and the band's version of Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness". The album charted on the Billboard 200 and achieved Gold status from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) based on its impressive sales.
