"USA" is a live album by the English band King Crimson, released in 1975. It was recorded at the Casino, Asbury Park, New Jersey, on 28 June 1974. Notably, this performance was one of the final ones by King Crimson before their first disbandment, marking the end of the band's 1972-1974 phase.
The original vinyl album was noteworthy for its inclusion of edited versions of several songs, omitting some solos. The full length songs were included in subsequent CD reissues. The reissue series also added more songs to the track list, from the same live show but not included in the original album.
The album exhibits King Crimson's complex, experimental style, featuring blends of rock, jazz, and classical influences. Band members featured on this album include Robert Fripp, John Wetton, David Cross, and Bill Bruford, each bringing their own unique talents to a tightly-knit, dynamic musical landscape. It also features violin and keyboards, giving it a distinctive sound in comparison to other King Crimson albums. Fans and critics alike have praised "USA" for its raw energy, intensity, and musicianship.
