Toto

"Toto IV" is the 4th studio album by the American rock band Toto released in April 1982. This album is notably one of their most commercially successful, with it achieving multi-platinum certification in several countries. "Toto IV" won several Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. The album yielded several hit singles, including "Rosanna", which won Record of the Year and was top on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and "Africa", a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which has since become one of the band's most recognizable songs. The other two singles were "Make Believe" and "I Won't Hold You Back", the latter of which was a ballad that had also topped the Billboard charts. Notably, "Toto IV" signified a high point in the band's career, after which they faced a long period of commercial decline. This deeply impactful album is recognized as embodying the distinctive, finely produced sound of the classic Toto era, with a combination of pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock, hard rock, R&B, and jazz.
