Buffalo Tom

"Let Me Come Over" is the third album by alternative rock band Buffalo Tom, released in 1992. The Massachusetts-based band, formed of Bill Janovitz, Chris Colbourn, and Tom Maginnis, had previously produced two albums, before finding their distinctive voice in "Let Me Come Over". The album struck a balance between their raw, energetic sound and more melodic, acoustic elements. One of the standout tracks includes "Taillights Fade", which attracted significant radio airplay and significantly contributed to the band's rise in popularity. Interestingly, the album was a shift from the more oblique lyrical stylings seen in their previous work, allowing for a more emotive, narrative thread to emerge. The trio, Bill Janovitz (guitar), Chris Colbourn (bass), and Tom Maginnis (drums), earned critical acclaim for this album, and it is often considered a defining work in their discography and a classic of the early alternative rock genre.
