"Greatest" is a compilation album by the Go-Go's, released in 1990. Comprised mainly of hits from their first three studio albums, it encapsulates the band's signature new wave sound and highlights their impactful contribution to the 80s music scene. Formed in 1978, The Go-Go's were an American new wave band that became an emblem of the 1980s with their cheerful, upbeat music. Their major studio albums were "Beauty and the Beat" (1981), "Vacation" (1982) and "Talk Show" (1984). The "Greatest" album includes numerous hits from these albums such as "Our Lips Are Sealed", "We Got the Beat" and "Vacation".
