Molly Hatchet

"Greatest Hits" is a compilation album by American southern rock band Molly Hatchet, released in 1990. The album features a collection of the band's biggest hits and fan favorites from their first five albums. Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1971, Molly Hatchet is known for their blend of hard rock and southern rock styles. The band's most popular songs, including "Flirtin' with Disaster," "Whiskey Man," and "Bloody Reunion," are included in this compilation. "Greatest Hits" also contains three newly recorded tracks: a re-recording of their famous hit, "Dreams I'll Never See," and two new songs, "Walk on the Side of the Angels," and "Walk with You." These new versions and tracks feature lead vocalist Danny Joe Brown, who had left the band in 1976 but returned in 1982. The album managed to capture the essence of Molly Hatchet's raw and powerful sound, and it served as an excellent representation of the music that had made them so popular during the late '70s and early '80s. It has been appreciated by both long-time fans for its nostalgic value and new listeners for its comprehensive overview of the band's work.
