Anthrax

"For All Kings" is the eleventh studio album by American thrash metal band Anthrax. It was released on February 26, 2016, and was the band's first album to feature guitarist Jon Donais. In terms of style, the album represents a continuation of Anthrax's return to their thrash roots, featuring heavy, fast-paced, rhythmically complex songs. It's noteworthy to mention that the album is the successor to Anthrax's 2011 release, "Worship Music", and the making of the album saw the introduction of a new band member, Jon Donais, who replaced Rob Caggiano. The anticipation for the album was built up by the release of a six-track EP titled "Aftershock - The Island Years 1985–1990" in 2013 which reinvigorated the band's fanbase. For All Kings received generally positive reviews from critics and fans upon its release. Songs like "Breathing Lightning" and "Blood Eagle Wings" were specifically well-regarded for their impressive guitar work and evocative lyrics. The album achieved notable commercial success as well, charting in numerous countries and often reaching the top 10 list. In the US, it peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200, making it one of Anthrax's highest-charting albums to date. Despite the changes to the band lineup during its production, For All Kings represents a high point in Anthrax's extensive discography. The album stands to show that the band's innovation and adaptability in the face of changing musical landscapes and band dynamics.
