Rock & Roll Machine is the second studio album from the Canadian rock band Triumph. Released in 1977, this album heralds the rock and roll style that Triumph is well known for. The album was recognized with a gold certification in Canada, acknowledging the sale of 50,000 copies. In America, the album was restructured by their record label to include tracks from Triumph's self-titled debut album and was released in 1978. The band, consisting of Rik Emmett, Michael Levine, and Gil Moore, are known for their classic lineup. Rock & Roll Machine features some key tracks that gained fame for Triumph like "Rocky Mountain Way" and the title track "Rock & Roll Machine." The album ends with a 19-minute suite which includes cover versions of Buddy Holly's "Rock Around The Clock," the Animals' "White Room" style solos, and other medleys.
