"Oxymoron" is the ninth studio album by British singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw, released on 16 October 2020. The album was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, and it marked a significant milestone in Kershaw's musical career.
To promote the album, an EP titled These Little Things was released on 26 June 2020, featuring six tracks from the full album. The first and only single from Oxymoron, "From Cloudy Bay to Malibu," was released on 11 September 2020. The song was first played by Ken Bruce on BBC Radio 2 a couple of days before its official release, and Kershaw made an appearance on Robert Elms's BBC Radio London show to further promote the album.
The album was released through Audio Network, a music service used for film and television, which is owned by Entertainment One. Oxymoron continued to showcase Kershaw's distinctive songwriting and production skills, offering a fresh sound for both new listeners and long-time fans.
