"UFO 1" is the debut studio album by British rock band UFO, released in the UK by Beacon Records in October 1970 and in the US by Rare Earth Records in April 1971. While it did not chart in either release, the album gained popularity in Germany and Japan.
The album was later reissued under the title Unidentified Flying Object, featuring four of the five tracks from the band's second album. This reissue included a photo of the band from the 1980s on the cover.
Additionally, UFO 1 was included in the 2004 compilation album Flying: The Early Years 1970–1973, which featured all recordings made with original guitarist Mick Bolton. It was also reissued as All The Hits & More - The Early Days in 2011 by XXX Media in Germany, without any additional tracks.
