The Beatles

"Love Songs" is a compilation album by the Beatles, featuring love songs recorded between 1962 and 1970. Released by Capitol Records in the U.S. on October 21, 1977, and by Parlophone in the U.K. on November 19, 1977, the album peaked at #24 on the Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart, maintaining a presence for 31 weeks. The RIAA certified it for three million sales in 2000, despite its deletion in the late 1980s. The album's packaging included an 11x11" booklet with song lyrics in calligraphy and a cover designed to mimic leather with a gold-foil Beatles image. It was also released on yellow vinyl. Notably, the album featured reversed audio channels and used slightly narrowed stereo for some tracks, including selections from Rubber Soul, while others employed Duophonic mixes.
