"All the World's a Stage" is a double live album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in September 1976. Recorded at Massey Hall in Toronto during their 2112 tour, the album showcases the band's setlist from those performances. Its title references Shakespeare's play As You Like It, and the album includes a mix of their popular songs, though some tracks were rearranged for vinyl constraints.
Lead vocalist and bassist Geddy Lee mentioned that releasing this live album helped buy time as the band worked on their next studio project after the success of 2112. The performance of "2112" omits parts of the studio version due to stage time limitations.
The album signifies the end of what Rush considered their "first chapter," and it established a pattern of releasing live albums following every four studio albums, a trend that continued until 2003. Max Webster opened for Rush during the three nights of recording.
Alternate recordings from the shows were later included in the 2112: 40th Anniversary box set in 2016.
