"Organic" is Joe Cocker's fifteenth studio album, released on 14 October 1996 in the UK. The album represents a return to Cocker's musical roots, featuring new recordings of some of his classic hits such as "You Are So Beautiful," "Delta Lady," and "Many Rivers to Cross," as well as fresh interpretations of songs by other artists, including Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic," Bob Dylan's "Dignity," and Stevie Wonder's "You and I."
Produced by Don Was, the album benefits from performances by notable musicians such as Jim Keltner, Billy Preston, Chris Stainton, Dean Parks, and Randy Newman. To promote the album, Cocker embarked on a European tour throughout October 1996. The tour included three special performances at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on 30 and 31 October and 1 November.
