"Trouble in Paradise" is the seventh studio album by American musician Randy Newman, released in 1983. The album features the well-known track "I Love L.A." and includes the first single, "The Blues," a duet with Paul Simon. Another notable song, "Same Girl," addresses themes of addiction, specifically focusing on a woman addicted to heroin. Newman supported the album by touring and performing shows with the Roches.
Additionally, a cover version of "Real Emotional Girl" from the album appears on Canadian singer Patricia O'Callaghan's 2001 album, Real Emotional Girl.
