"Big Thing" is the sole studio album by Lisa Stansfield's band, Blue Zone, released in June 1988 by Arista Records. This album features songs written by Stansfield, Ian Devaney, and Andy Morris, with production by Paul Staveley O'Duffy. Additionally, it includes a cover of Jackie, which was co-produced by Ric Wake.
The album spawned three singles: On Fire, Thinking About His Baby, and Jackie. While Blue Zone was relatively short-lived, Big Thing remains a notable part of Stansfield's early career.
On November 18, 2016, the album was re-released in the United Kingdom as a remastered and expanded deluxe 2-CD set, marking its first release in the band's home country and offering fans enhanced content and a fresh perspective on the album.
