"So Natural," released on November 8, 1993, is Lisa Stansfield's third solo studio album. Like her previous works, it was a collaboration with her husband Ian Devaney, who co-wrote and produced the album. Andy Morris also contributed to the songwriting, continuing his partnership with Stansfield from her earlier albums.
The album was well-received by critics and performed moderately well commercially. It reached number six on the UK charts and achieved Platinum certification, underscoring its success despite not being released in North America.
In 2014, So Natural was reissued in the UK on November 10 and in Europe on November 21 as a deluxe 2CD + DVD collection. This reissue provided fans with a comprehensive look at the album's content and its place in Stansfield's discography.
