"Deeper" is Lisa Stansfield's eighth solo studio album, released on April 6, 2018. This album features a blend of contemporary and classic sounds, showcasing Stansfield's distinctive voice and songwriting abilities. All tracks on the album were written or co-written by Stansfield, with production handled by her husband, Ian Devaney, and Snowboy.
To promote the album, the track Everything was made available for download on January 8, 2018, for those who pre-ordered the album. The first official single, "Billionaire," was released on February 26, 2018, followed by the second single, Never Ever, which achieved notable success by reaching number 6 on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
Stansfield supported the album with a UK and European tour in April and May 2018. The deluxe edition of Deeper was released on October 26, 2018, and included a bonus CD featuring four new live recordings from the tour, remixes of Billionaire, Deeper, and Never Ever, as well as a new version of There Goes My Heart.
