"Affection" is the debut solo album by British singer-songwriter and actress Lisa Stansfield, released by Arista Records on 20 November 1989. Stansfield co-wrote all the songs with Ian Devaney and Andy Morris, who also produced the album, with the exception of This Is the Right Time, which was produced by Coldcut.
The album received critical acclaim, praised for its blend of pop, soul, and dance music, and for Stansfield's distinctive voice. Affection was also a commercial success, reaching the top ten on charts in multiple countries and selling over five million copies worldwide. It produced several hit singles, including the international smash All Around the World, which became Stansfield's signature song, and other successful tracks such as This Is the Right Time, Live Together, What Did I Do to You? and You Can't Deny It.
The album's influence and popularity led to its re-release as a deluxe 2CD + DVD set in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2014, and in Europe on 21 November 2014, featuring remastered tracks, bonus material, and music videos.
