"Good Humor" is the fourth studio album by English alternative dance band Saint Etienne, released on May 4, 1998, by Creation Records. The American spelling of "humor" in the title reflects the band's desire to move away from their "quintessentially English" image, as noted by Sarah Cracknell.
The album marked a departure from the band's previous work, moving away from the indie dance genre. While their earlier album Tiger Bay had incorporated acoustic and orchestral elements but still remained in the synth-pop and dance genres, Good Humor is more acoustic. It has more in common musically with their 1993 hit single You're in a Bad Way.
The album was demoed in the UK using synths and drum machines but was recorded in Sweden with producer **Tore Johansson**, who enhanced their sound with a full band and a horn section.
